David Shao is the founder of V-Health Rehab Clinic and a senior healthcare practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal and rehabilitative care. In recognition of his contributions to the community and the healthcare profession, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal by the Government of Alberta in 2023, reflecting his professional excellence and respected standing within the field.
Manual Osteopathy and Advanced Clinical Rehabilitation Care
David holds a 3,000-hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy certification, the highest level of massage therapy education in Canada, and is a registered member of the Certified Registered Massage Therapists Association (CRMTA). He also holds a Diploma of Manual Osteopathy (DOMP) and practices as an experienced manual osteopathic therapist.

Throughout his career, David has treated a wide range of patients, including professional athletes and individuals with complex, chronic conditions. His clinical focus includes chronic neck and low back pain, migraines, sciatica, frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), and motor vehicle accident (MVA)–related injuries. His approach emphasizes precise assessment, structured treatment planning, and long-term functional recovery.
